Hey Mumma!
Since your here, I'd say you are curious to get to know us a little better.
I'd love to share our journey and what brought us to this point. So grab your cuppa and let's get into it.
In 2017, I was blessed with the most beautiful baby girl. Like everyone, I now faced the most rewarding yet most challenging time in a women's life, the steep learning curve of being a Mother.
Lucky for me, I had my life coaching and social work skills to create a positive mindset, celebrate the wins and play with the challenges. It was an amazing 1st year of being a Mum.
Until... 1 week before her first birthday!!

I was completely taken aback and caught off guard by the toddler phase.
I went from being able to pick her up, move her around to her being fiercely independent. And it was a rollercoaster ride that made me feel sick. From happy one minute to crying the next, from giggling to whinging and from playing to foot stamping. It was so stressful and started to make the times when she wasn’t having a tantrum less enjoyable because I was just anticipating the next one.
I knew I had to do something. I did all the googling and there really wasn’t a lot out there and what I did find was pretty wishy washy, didn’t sit right with me or just didn’t work for my daughter. I'm not exaggerating when I say she was and is fiercely independent.
As a Life Coach and Mental Health Social Worker, I refused to settle for anything less than living a created life and I believe there is always a solution to every problem.
And this is how the first Taming Tantrums Workshop was created!

I used a variety of psychological frameworks to design and implement strategies that respectfully set boundaries for my daughter that complimented her developmental stages, while meeting her needs for power, autonomy and feeling capable.
These tools completely changed my experience of parenting!!!
In 2020, we were blessed again with the cutest, cheekiest little boy. We used the tools at each stage to create feelings of love, security, connection and understanding. As a result the transition was so smooth for everyone. My daughter excitedly welcomed her little brother into our family and our little family was complete.
Now in 2024, we are creating a new approach to sibling dynamics and raising siblings without rivalry.
