Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the terms and conditions page, where we'll outline the details of our agreement about how to use the website, services and other offerings. Whether you're browsing our site or attending a service, you may encounter certain features with their own guidelines, terms or rules. Whenever this is the case, those guidelines, terms or rules are considered part of these overall terms and conditions. We'll always make them accessible to you with those features. So, without further ado, let's dive in.

Using the Service

These terms and Conditions govern the use of our Service and the agreement between you and Mindful Mummas Network. They set out your rights and obligations when using the service. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you are not allowed to use the service. The use of the service may not be permitted in some areas where it is prohibited by law. By using the website, our services and other offerings, you confirm that you have the right, authority, and ability to agree to and follow these terms, and that you are not prohibited from using the service.

1. Service Description:

Our services are designed to provide guidance, support, and practical strategies for parents to enhance their parenting skills and strengthen relationships with their children. Our services cover various content related to child development, effective communication, discipline techniques, emotional regulation, psychological therapies and fostering positive parent-child interactions.

1. Registrations

1.1. Participants must register for their individual or group sessions in advance through the designated registration process.

1.2. Receipt of referral does not indicate acceptance to Parent counselling services. Suitability of the referral will be assessed following a free phone consultation.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy:

2.1. The organisers reserve the right to cancel individual or group sessions, due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient registration.

2.2. In the event of cancellation by the organisers or therapists, participants will be notified promptly, and a full refund of registration fees will be provided.

2.3. Participants who wish to cancel their registration must notify the organisers or therapist in writing at least 2 days prior to the workshop start date to be eligible for a refund, if applicable.

3. Group workshops:

3.1By purchasing and participating in our group workshops, you understand the course is intended for educational purposes only. The programs and the conversations within are voluntary and are not a substitute for psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment and the counselling services. The group workshops are not therapy or medical treatment, they do not replace therapy or medical treatment, and do not establish a psychotherapist-patient relationship. Should you wish to access our parent counselling services, please got to the parent counselling page. If you believe you are experiencing an emergency, contact your local healthcare provider or call 000.

3.2. While our workshop endeavours to collaboratively tailor techniques to address unique family situations, it's important to acknowledge the inherent limitations of a group setting. While participants may receive personalised insights and guidance during the workshop, it is not equivalent to therapy or a substitute for individualised professional counselling. The workshop facilitator(s) provide general guidance and tools, which may not comprehensively address every participant's specific circumstances. Participants are encouraged to seek individualised therapy or counselling sessions for more personalised support and guidance beyond the workshop's scope.

3.3. The organisers reserve the right to modify the workshop schedule, content, or materials as deemed necessary without prior notice.

3.4. Participants are encouraged to actively engage in the workshop activities and discussions for optimal learning outcomes.

4. Confidentiality:

4.1. All personal information shared by participants during individual and group sessions, including but not limited to personal anecdotes or concerns, will be treated with utmost confidentiality.

4.2. Participants are expected to respect the privacy of others and refrain from sharing confidential information outside of the workshop setting.

5. Code of Conduct:

5.1. Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner throughout.

5.2. Disruptive behaviour, harassment, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated and may result in immediate dismissal from the service without refund.

6. Liability:

6.1. The organisers of any of Mindful Mummas Network shall not be liable for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss sustained by participants during any workshops, services or offering

6.2. Participants are responsible for their own well-being and are encouraged to seek professional advice for any specific concerns.

8.1. Photography, audio recording, or video recording of individual or group sessions is strictly prohibited without prior authorisation from the organisers.

8.2. The organisers may capture photos or videos during individual or group sessions for promotional purposes, and participants consent to their likeness being used in such materials.
